Duties and Responsibilities:A neurosurgeon is a physician who specializes in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of disorders of the central and peripheral nervous system including congenital anomalies, trauma, tumors, vascular disorders, infections of the brain or spine, stroke, or degenerative diseases of the spine.

Education:After graduating medical school and completing an internship, the doctor enters a neurosurgical residency program. A neurosurgical residency takes 5 to 7 years to complete.
Demand for this profession: The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that demand for physicians and surgeons is expected to grow 24 percent between 2010 and 2020.

Reflection: I Think that this is a very fascinating occupation but i don't see myself there. It's a very interesting job, but i just don't think its for me.
