What I think Abraham Lincoln is trying to say is that if you do a nice thing, you will feel good about yourself and your place in the world. If you do an evil thing, you will feel bad about yourself. I agree with this quote because it shows that people who help out or care about this world, they will soon be getting a good consequence in their life. For example if you do an evil act like killing someone, you will go to jail with regret for the rest of your life. Having the morals to know right from wrong is a very powerful thing, and living life and treating others the way you would want to be treated yourself is a very noble thing. If I do good then I must be a good person. I can strongly relate to this quote because when I donate clothes or other things i have no use for I feel good about myself afterwards.
