What i think this quote means is a person who chooses the right makes themselves a great person.
  CTR people are people who choose the right for themselves,When you are a good human being you become a champion at life. Who would not want to be a champion at life. You can do whatever you like by becoming a CTR person, it is the best thing to possibly be. CTR people are hard working, respectful, kind, caring, and so many other good things. Being a CTR person is what everyone should aim to be because it is the best you can be. You have to be good person to become a champion to others.
